Welcome to 2009!

Happy New Year!!!

Well, it's 2009 now and we have kicked into another new chapter in USEF! I'd like to get started with a few changes:

Member of the Month
Congratulations to [USEF] trickhip on earning the Member of the Month for January! Be sure to congratulate him when you see him.

You will also notice that we have placed a "previous" link beneath the member. That will take you to the page of past MotM's.

Server Admins
As of today, only Senior Server Admins will be allowed to use BF2CC for our servers. Server Admins will no longer have access to BF2CC and will now be required to use in-game admin commands. This has been done mainly because of a server security concern, as well as it helps teach our admins to utilize the in-game commands. We have created a workshop explaining all of the commands, you can view it by clicking here. If you have any more questions, please ask us in the forums or on TeamSpeak.

Gallery
Our gallery is slowly growing. Many photos have been added, so go check them out!
Keep in mind the gallery is a seperate registration from the BF site. For the USEF members once you register, I will go in and add you to the USEF member group so you can view our private albums.

VIP
Congratulations to our newest VIP player WJTBW. Thank you WJTBW for being dedicated to our server and being respectful to our rules and members. Look for WJTBW in our server and say congratulations!

Site Updates
We have added a few pages to the website. A team history page has been added as well as a workshops forum. And yes, that does say store in the Site Info block. We will be rolling that out sometime this month. We have also added a BF Info Center block that you can use to get more information about the games. The Server block has been seperated into two different blocks and can now be viewed on the home page towards the bottom.

Final Note for 2008

What a year it has been! I'd just like to say a few things before we close the 2008 chapter of our book and move onto another year for USEF.

USEF is different, we are not a clan, we are a team. A team that sticks together through hard and uneasy times. I'd like to say that it is a honor and privilege to have met all of you and look forward to what 2009 will bring to us.

I'd also like to mention that we are now over 70 members strong going into the New Year.

So on that, I would like to leave you with a look at the past 100 years in the world, and wish all of you a safe and Happy New Year!

VIP Players

We have just launched a new section within USEF. I'd like to announce the beginning of the USEF - VIP Players.

We have a lot of gamers that play in our servers, but there are a few that game on there almost as much as us, and even more! So we'd like to show them our appreciation somehow for playing in our servers often and respecting USEF members as well as server rules.

What do VIP's get?
-Mentioned in a special block on the USEF-BF.net homepage.
-Invitation to join and register on our TeamSpeak server.
-Mentioned in in-game server messages.
-VIP Status on our forums.

In order to become a VIP you must be recommended by a USEF Member. They will then be discussed and voted on.

Here at USEF, we don't tolerate cheaters! So in effort to help catch and stop them, we run PBbans as well as Punkbuster on our servers.
